KNEE PRESERVATION FOUNDATION

“By encouraging reciprocal visits for young trainees and international experts, the Knee Preservation Foundation aims to speed up the sharing of best practice and learning in an informal but professional way”.
Knee Preservation Foundation

The UK Knee Preservation Foundation was established in February 2016 to share ideas about knee preservation. It combines clinical and academic input from Adrian’s Unit with information that appeals both to clinicians and patients.

Adrian’s focus is on trying to preserve the patient’s knee and carry out surgery that is not only minimally invasive, but which causes minimal discomfort to the patient. The idea is to encourage a quick recovery so patients can return to their usual activities as soon as possible. He encourages best practice within his profession by enabling young trainees, as well as international experts, to share his techniques in a professional but informal way. This includes live demonstrations as well as online livestreaming to learn his techniques.
